A DIY cardboard kit line, designed under official Jurassic World: Dominion licensing.
DIY-Sculpture is a flat-pack cardboard kit line developed at BIKABUKA Studio under official Jurassic World: Dominion licensing. The studio translated dinosaur forms into buildable interlocking structures, designed to ship flat and assemble without glue or tools. My contribution supported visual development, prototyping, and assembly testing within the team.

Brand Brief
BIKABUKA developed a licensed DIY cardboard kit line for Jurassic World: Dominion, creating buildable creature collectibles for families. The product needed to ship flat, assemble without glue or tools, and still feel sculptural when completed.
Conceptual Approach
The design challenge was to reduce each creature into a recognisable silhouette while keeping the construction simple enough for home assembly. Cardboard planes were used as both structure and surface, creating a balance between puzzle, toy, and display object.
Prototyping Process
As part of the studio team, I contributed to 3D model development and cardboard prototyping at multiple scales. Iterations tested slot strength, build sequence, material thickness, and final silhouette, with the goal of using the fewest parts possible while keeping each creature recognisable.
Collectible Outcome
The final line included five buildable creatures designed as family-friendly collectibles. Each kit could be packed flat, assembled by hand, and displayed as a sculptural object after completion.
